Vietnam: A Children's Guide, created by children for children, features an online picture book of information about Vietnam, interesting facts about schools in Vietnam, and a quiz. Click on Teacher Resources for a wealth of materials and suggestions. Teacher Taverna gives a detailed description of how and why the site was created. Included are activity pages for a character study, graphic organizers, evaluation tools, links to photo sites on the Web and information on discussion webs, and a WebQuest for using the site.
