REVIEW:
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is an alliance of 26 countries from North America and Europe working to fulfill the goals set forth in the North Atlantic Treaty of 1949. First time visitors to the site may want to begin with the "What is NATO?" link at the top. This slide show gives an overview of what NATO does, explains how it works and what's on the agenda, and provides links for finding more information. There is also a handy FAQ section that will answer most of your questions. The site offers access to NATO speeches, a multimedia section with photo essays, audio and video files, and an archive of the NATO Review, the in-house magazine.
