The site has a simple user-friendly layout that uses few graphics.
The site is well-organized into four main sections: Elementary, Middle School, High School, and Ideas and Essays. The various sections are available through the top menu bar. The latest activities are also featured on the main page of the site.

REVIEW: was developed by Educators for Social Responsibility (ESR) and provides classroom activities that help teachers to take advantage of "teachable moments" concerning issues that are in the news. The site is filled with articles and activities for use in the elementary, middle school, or high school classroom. Topics for high school students include current domestic issues and global issues. For instance, the Presidential Election of 2004 includes activities that help students understand issues related to weapons of mass destruction and why Presidents call for war.
