CONTENT: Cambridge Development Lab provides to teachers and administrators this service, which matches curriculum products to state standards. Products can be purchased at the site, but the service can be used even if you don't make a purchase.

|
AESTHETICS: The site is set in frames and has a cute animated guide, Digby, who is a "F.E.R.R.E.T. (Find Every Really Relevant Education Title"). Flash Player is required, and the site seems to work more smoothly on a PC than on a Mac.

ORGANIZATION: The database can be searched in several ways, QuickSearch, EasySearch, and SuperSearch. Step-by-step directions are provided in the help section. There is a navigation bar at the top of the screen that lists the major sections of the site. Each of the sections has a sidebar on the left that list additional choices.

REVIEW: EduMatch offers teachers and administrators the opportunity to locate and preview carefully selected curriculum software from more than one hundred and fifty publishers. Best of all, EduMatch will match your own curriculum standards with the software that best addresses them. You first choose your search engine -- Quick Search, Easy Search, or Super Search -- and "Digby" will find what you need. Super Search will give you the most definitive results. You can define a variety of requirements, such as grade level, state, subject area, and standard. If that isn't enough, you will also be given suggestions for how to best integrate the programs you find into your curriculum. Included at the site are handpicked links, articles, downloads, publishers' specials, new products and reviews, funding updates, and a forum.
