CONTENT:
Childhood Reading is a collection of online fairy tales, poetry, and fables.
AESTHETICS:
The layout is simple but attractive. The background colors and text work well together.
ORGANIZATION:
The stories are indexed by author and by illustrator and navigation is easily accomplished by simply clicking on the title.
REVIEW:
In this collection, visitors will find the stories of Hans Christian Andersen, Aesop's fables, and classic fairy tales such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and The Frog Prince. Each text is accompanied by original early 20th-century illustrations by such notable illustrators as Maxfield Parrish and Edmund Dulac. Included are works by Robert Louis Stevenson, Eugene Field, and Grace James.
