What does it promise? The iTooch Middle School App promises a fun and interactive way for student’s grades 6-8 to both learn and practice reading, writing and composition, grammar, vocabulary and communication skills. The app promises the ability to easily maneuver throughout the system making the learning experience enjoyable. They also provide a companion named iTooch to make the app more student/kid friendly.

Does it deliver? Yes. The iTooch app delivers with their middle school geared lesson and assessments. Before every exercise is a lesson summary that explains what they will be asked to identify. This helps students who may have not learned about “Phrases In Context,” to explore it further. The app is broken down into sections first by grade the by subject matter. After students learn 6^th Grade Language Arts they can test their skills with exercises until they are comfortable. The app is then deemed useful for their following year of Language Arts learning and the year after that. The Lessons are comprehensive and challenging which is good students need to be challenged in order to help them retain what they learn and understand why it’s important.  

Can I use it in the classroom? This app can be used in the classroom but teachers who want children to practice the lessons but still remain present if they have questions that the app cannot answer. It would more effectively be used at home to practice lessons that have been taught in class that day/week. It’s a very good tool that both parents and teachers will be impressed with because of the proper organization of lessons and quality of them as well. Students who need extra help when it comes to understanding Math, Language Arts and Health lessons in class can find it in the iTooch Middle School App.
