Interactive videoconferencing involves a television, a microphone, and a camera working together. Using a telephone line or network Internet provider connection, you "dial up" another location with the same setup; you can see and hear them and they can see and hear you.
Students are able to talk with people and access resources that would otherwise be unavailable due to distance and time.
