Beach Bucket

Create an "inside sandbox." Use a plastic hard-sided swim pool or a covered character sandbox. (You have seen them at many stores; they come in the shapes of a turtle, crab, fish, or tugboat...) Bury buckets in the sand so that the rims are even with the ground/sand level. "Shoot" plastic or foam balls into the holes, assigning point values according to distance. Once it turns sunny and warm, you can move the sandbox outside.
