At Circle Time, invite children to say what color their toothbrushes are. Keep a running list of their responses. Then on an easel pad show a simple bar graph to represent the various colors and the number of students that have each color. Help students understand the graph and ask simple questions such as Which color toothbrush do the most children have? Fewest children? And so on...
