Hotmath, Inc., the developer of Catchup Math online math review and intervention service, will allow schools and students to use its most popular basic math programs for free.
Catchup Math diagnoses and fills in learning gaps for middle and high school students. Catchup Math’s basic programs—Essentials and Foundations—cover math concepts through 7th grade and help struggling secondary students get caught up so they can succeed in math. These basic programs will now be available at no cost.
“Our mission at Hotmath for over 10 years has been to help struggling students in math, and this is the best way we know how to do it in these times of tight education budgets,” said Chuck Grant, President of Hotmath, Inc. “We believe once teachers see how their students’ math skills soar after using our basic math programs, they will want their students to advance into our Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry programs.”
Students can take quizzes that determine learning gaps and receive individualized instruction, or they can choose from the dozens of multi-modal basic math lessons that contain videos, activities, skill builders, math games and more. Teachers can generate detailed usage and progress reports that help them make informed instructional decisions.
“The timing of this offer couldn’t be better,” said Grant. “With schools having to eliminate summer school programs due to budget cuts, they now have a no-cost option for their failing students. We welcome all schools to take advantage of this incredible opportunity.”
The free service contains no ads and will retain the privacy of users’ contact information. Students and teachers can easily sign up at catchupmath.com and begin using the basic programs immediately.
