Site URL:  Do2Learn.com

Content:  Do2Learn uses technology and the Web to provide special learning resources for individuals with disabilities and the professionals and caregivers who serve them.

Design: Bright and colorful, Do2Learn has a positive feel. The homepage is oddly justified to the left of the screen, however, and upon first look, it takes the user a minute to figure out what is “off.”

The main navigation bar across the top of the page garners the most attention, as this is the primary means of accessing the site’s content. Everything here is laid out in a logical manner, and dropdowns provide a more specific navigation.

Review:  Working with leading educators, clinicians, teachers and parents, Do2Learn develops serious games and learning materials targeting specific deficits of children with neurological disorders including ASD, fetal alcohol effects, intellectual disabilities, attention disorders, learning and communication disorders. The site specifically addresses deficits in the areas of behavior, socialization, communication, coping and daily living skills.

There is literally a wealth of content, with the sole purpose of helping those with disabilities. Educators will find everything from emotion games and math helpers to organizers and socialization tips.

An area of particular note is the Evaluation and Identification page. Here, teachers and parents can find helpful information if they suspect a child may have a learning challenge. .

Bottom Line: For anyone working with children who have disabilities, Do2Learn is worth visiting.
