Recommendation: Recently I participated in a full-day workshop given by Marvin Marshall at a local elementary school in the Phoenix area. Dr. Marshall presented a school-wide discipline plan for teachers that stresses democracy (self-discipline) and cooperation. The philosophy behind the plan was well summarized, and he outlined a practical plan that could be used by teachers who use the program. The program was well received by all the staff members.
