During the past year, Education World launched two programs to help teachers use technology to educate, improve communication with parents, increase school pride, and raise funds in a safe and school-appropriate manner.
'It's Our Book, Write It Loud!'
This is the ONLY program that lets your school publish a REAL book written by all the students and then sell it as a fund-raiser!
For students, it's a chance to express themselves on a topic of importance. For teachers, it's a compelling way to engage students in a rewarding writing project focused on that topic. For administrators, it's a golden opportunity to use an educational process to build school spirit and win community-wide praise and financial support for the school.
How does it work? It's easy. The basic steps:
- Students study and write on a topic the teacher selects.
- The teacher collects the student work and submits materials.
- The school and/or the PTA/PTO collects book orders from the community.
- The school distributes books and earns 40 percent of the sales.

Community Access
Community Access is the ONLY Internet Access Program that benefits schools AND families.
It's this easy! Through Education World, parents at your school may subscribe to Internet access for $19.95 per month. Unlike other Internet-access programs, however, Community Access returns $3.00 per family per month. Community Access is an ideal fund-raiser -- and we do all the work!
Education World will work with your school leader or school technology coordinator to build a home page that parents will see every time they log on to the Internet. It takes only 15 minutes to build this school-specific home page. Use it to keep parents up to date on school news, upcoming events, and other information about school activities. Community Access provides EVERY teacher with his or her own Web site. Use it to post the homework for the day, post extra credit assignments, and/or provide information that helps parents participate in the educational process of their children.
