App Name: Draw on Slides
Cost: 99 Cents
What does it promise? Draw on Slides lets you show your iPad photos to family, friends, and business associates and draw attention to specific details about each one. Make your point and keep their attention at the same time. Select the album with your photos, pick the first photo to show, and draw on any photo as you navigate from slide to slide.
Does it deliver? Yes, especially when the iPad in question is connected to a larger display. Photographs, charts and any other graphical display can be individualized by simply using your finger to draw on it. Make little notes about a particular image, or highlight a specific portion of it.
Ease of use is key with this app—users need only an imagination to successfully use it.
Can I use it in my classroom? This is a presentation tool by design, so teachers will find many uses. Educators can enhance slides, images with graphical enhancements, or notes and citations. These tools add a new dimension to any lesson.
