Can you believe that April is almost over and were (finally!) headed into May -- one of my favorite months of the year?
Fittingly enough, May is Physical Fitness and Sports Month. Be sure to visit our Physical Fitness Theme Page for some great ideas for getting kids active.
Indoors or out, youll want to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with this fun and educational WebQuest from New Mexico teacher Cheryl Cox. Kids will learn about the history and geography of Mexico, make Tacos in a Bag, create piatas, and more. Its a lesson everyone will enjoy and appreciate.
Speaking of appreciation, May 3-9 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Take a few minutes during the week to be good to yourself and your colleagues. You deserve it.
