Hot Activities for Celebrating Summer!

It's official -- summertime is here! The last days of school are a great time for reinforcing some summer safety rules and for looking ahead to some great summertime fun. This week's Education World lessons help you accomplish those things! Included: Activities connected to food safety, roller coasters, and more!

Summertime, summertime, sum- sum- summertime!

School's out, and that's worth singing about!

Before you let your students run out the door on the last day of school, why not devote some classroom time to reinforcing summer safety rules, visiting some great vacation spots, and building a roller coaster? Those are just a few of the activities you'll find in this week's Education World lesson plans. The list of lessons and brief descriptions follow. Click on the lesson title to view the complete lesson.

Students complete a chart showing the characteristics of roller coasters and answer questions.

Design a Roller Coaster
