Measure the Mayflower


Students worked hard all week? Do they deserve a special reward for a job well done? This activity will offer students a nice break from structured learning. Adapt it to fit your needs. Have some Friday Fun!

DESCRIPTION

Thanksgiving is one of teacher Vallye Blanton's favorite holidays. "I use many Thanksgiving activities," she told Education World. "We measure the dimensions of the Mayflower and rope it off on the playground. Then we have 102 people stand inside to demonstrate how crowded it was."
