On November 30, 1896 two bicyclists discovered the body of a huge sea creature that has washed up on the beech of an island off the coast of St. Augustine, Florida. Scientist A.E. Verill name the creature Octopus Giganteus, or the giant octopus. It's measurements revealed that the living creature would have been more then 100 feat long! Octopuses often live in dens holes or spaces between rocks, and they swim by squirting water out of there body's.
