Have you ever read a Nancy Drew mystery author Mildred Wirt Benson wrote 23 Nancy Drew mysterys. She did not use her own name when she wrote them. She use a pen name, Carolyn Keene. Like the mane character in the Nancy Drew tails, Benson enjoyed exploring the Iowa farm that was her child hood home she was born on July 10, 1905 and sold her first short story at age 14.
