Answer Key

On July 4, 1971, a tiny gorilla was born at the San Francisco Zoo in California. Named "Koko," the gorilla would become one of the most famous gorillas ever. That's because Dr. Penny Patterson [DELETE comma ,] has taught Koko to "speak" using American Sign Language. Koko can make the signs for more than 1,000 English words. Koko also likes kittens, plays with dolls [some might insert a comma here for clarity], and enjoys writing and drawing.
