In 1967, president Lyndon Johnson appointed Thurgood Marshall to the Supreme Court. During his 24 years on that court, Marshall was the only african american he argued 32 cases before the Supreme Court, and he lossed just three of them. One of Marshalls most famous cases opened all school doors to black students. Born on July 2, 1908 Marshall allways wanted to be remembered for “doing what he could with what he had”.
