Considered one of the most gifted english poet, Elizabeth Barrett Browning was born on March 6, 1806 to a wealthy family in Herefordshire, England. She was a excellent student. She even taught herself latin and greek! She wrote her first long poem at the age of 11. Although her helth was not good, Elizabeth put her energy into righting. One of her most famous works begins with the words How do I love thee. Let me count the ways.”
