George Frederick Handel, one of the most important composer's of his time was born on February 23, 1685. He wrot operas and long choral works. His most famous work is called Messiah. Many orchestras and chorus's perform that peace each year round Easter. Handel was born the same year as an other well-known composer, Johann Sebastian Bach. Though both were composers, they're musical styles and lifes was very different.
