Brief Description

Students read about the family practices of robins and speculate, orally or in a journal, about the reasons for the birds' behaviors.

Lesson Plan

In the activity Eggstra! Eggstra! Read All About It!, students read or listen to facts about how robins lay their eggs and care for their young. The students then respond to questions about what they have read, either orally or in a journal, and speculate about some behaviors of the birds.
