One person's trash can be a teacher's treasure. Try one of these "trashy" storage suggestions.
Portfolio Holders Have each student cover and decorate an empty cereal box, and then cover the decorations with contact paper. The box can be used throughout the year to hold students' reports, projects, audiotapes, videotapes, and more. Clothesline Art Hang a string along the length of the classroom to create a clothesline. Use clothespins to hang student work or classroom posters and charts. Picture This Label film canisters with each student's name and use them to store lunch/milk money. Article by Linda Starr
