for Homework Hassles Volume 31 Doing LunchI used this strategy in first grade: Homework that is turned in on time is recorded on a rewards chart daily. When a student reaches 20 pages, they get to have lunch with the teacher. During lunch, students eat, watch a short movie, (i.e. Clifford, Arthur…. One that can be watched during lunch time), receive a certificate for the number of pages turned in, and get a licorice and sticker. Article by Sarah Vierra
