San Diego Zoo Is the Place to Go!
Education World readers think the San Diego Zoo Web site is the best zoo or aquarium site on the Internet! All last month -- National Zoo and Aquarium Month -- readers voted in a poll that included some of the best zoo sites on the World Wide Web. The poll was part of a story that highlighted a handful of great zoo sites, It's a Zoo Out There! -- The Best Zoo Sites on the Web! The final tally appears below.
| San Diego Zoo (California) | 37% |
| Monterey Bay Aquarium (California) | 17% |
| National Zoo (Washington, D.C.) | 10% |
| National Aquarium (Baltimore) | 7% |
The balance of the tally (29 percent) comprised sites that received less than 5 percent of the total votes cast.
