We're Nuts About Reading

In the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, track students' reading on this bulletin board.

Encourage students to read with this fun fall-themed bulletin board. Which student will gather the most nuts this month?

DIRECTIONS

Each student is represented on the board by a squirrel cut out of gray or light brown paper. (For squirrel templates and patterns, see these sources: Squirrel Source 1 or Squirrel Source 2.) Write each child's name on a squirrel. Students will gather nuts next to their squirrels, writing on each nut the title and author of a book they've read.
