Book Report Makeover: Student to Student QuizEach week, Education World offers a new idea to help you "make over" boring book report formats. If you're looking for a way to spice up book reports -- and truly engage students in reading -- you've come to the right place. Check out this week's makeover idea
Students create a quiz to check their own "book learning."
When the entire class has read the same book, use the opportunity to have them create a test about the book. Ask each student to write two questions about the book's characters, setting, or plot. Explain that questions can be fill-in-the-blank, true or false, or multiple-choice. Discard poor or duplicate questions and administer the test to the class.
