Book Report Makeover: Venn Diagrams! Each week, Education World offers a new idea to help you "make over" boring book report formats. If you're looking for a way to spice up book reports -- and truly engage students in reading -- you've come to the right place. Check out this week's makeover idea
A Venn diagram encourages students to make connections.
Ask each student to create a Venn diagram illustrating the similarities and differences between two of the main characters in a book just read. Alternatively, a student might elect to create a Venn diagram showing the similarities and differences between the book's main character and himself or herself.
