Have you ever said good bye to a student at the end of the day and realized it was the first time you'd talked to that student all day? To make sure you call upon each student every day, make a template of your class list with room beside it for comments. Each day, print a fresh copy of the class list and keep it on your desk. Use it to check off when you call on a students and to jot notes about learning and behavior. The list is also helpful at parent teacher conferences and report card time.
