Florida Meets the School-To-Work Challenge
The School-to-Work Opportunities Act of 1994 made funds available so that states could establish their own school-to-work programs. As a result, hundreds of programs have been developed nationwide. America's Job Bank is a guide that can help young people make informed career choices. Job Corps
This is the Web site for the Job Corps program. The site includes a lot of resources for the School-To-Work (STW) initiative (this movement seeks to develop a national framework and provide capital for states to design systems to help young people make the transition from school to careers and lifelong learning). Detailed information on the what the Job Corps does and how communities, employers and educators can benefit from Job Corps is included.
