REVIEW:
The Job Corps program was set up in 1964 to provide disadvantaged youths with academic, vocational, and social skills training in order to gain independence and get quality jobs. This site has important information for professionals who work with at-risk youths as well as for the youths themselves. Information on enrollment, programs, communities, centers and job placement. Additionally, this site has generous school-to-work resources including guides, grants and other related sites. This is a great site for vocational educators as well as others interested in the school-to-work approach to education.
