REVIEW:
The parent SNOW (Special Needs Opportunity Windows) Web site was created to provide ways for special needs children to electronically access curriculum materials. The project uses teacher education and models to help with distance education for special needs students. The SNOW Kids Web site has resources and links to outside sources to help students with homework, online classes, and resources for parents. Users can take virtual tours of zoos, museums, and other interesting places. Users can visit the "Playground" section where they can chat with or send messages to other viewers. All students and educators will find this to be a good collection of Internet resources.
