This Web site was set up to make learning vocabulary a fun endeavor instead of a chore. The site
has puzzles, games and contests to motivate users.

The main page can be a little overwhelming with a lot of information, colors and graphics.

ORGANIZATION:
All of the sections are listed on the main page but they are in no particular order and without dividers. Each page has links at the bottom to other sections of the site.

REVIEW:
The resources here for teachers and students include grade specific puzzles, comic strips, word games and monthly word find puzzles. Concepts covered by include word families, word roots, analogies and synonym/antonyms. The site also has links to fun, word-related resources. While all of these activities are here to be fun, they are also for learning - especially for learning vocabulary. Some of the quizzes can be used as preparation for tests such as the SAT and GRE. Others, designed for lower grades, could be part of a vocabulary lesson or become a weekly activity in class.
