The Researching Librarian
GRADE LEVEL: Professional

The Researching Librarian site provides links to a meta-list of carefully selected sites useful for research.

The site has a simple, intuitive interface.

All the links are categorized and annotated. Each page has a top and bottom text menu, making navigation from one section to the other easy.

Librarians conducting research will find the resources here helpful. The site is divided into five research categories: databases, funding, journals, statistics, , and tools. Two additional sections, awareness and discussion, provide opportunities for librarians to stay abreast of the latest Web resources and to participate in a forum for discussing research issues. The sites included were selected by Kerry Smith, assistant professor and library instruction services coordinator for the Mississippi State University libraries.
