Overview: Students work in teams to research information about civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and about his dreams for America. Assuming the roles of editor, concerned citizen, political cartoonist and featured poet, students express their opinions as to whether Dr. King's dreams of freedom and justice for all Americans have come true. Students use their roles to create a newspaper-style editorial page expressing their thoughts on this topic. The quest includes an editorial page template and directions to help students complete the project.
