|
Points to Ponder
Look at the whole picture when creating a classroom computer area.
When placing computers in a classroom or lab, avoid glare from windows or classroom lighting; allow room for several students to work at a single computer; and provide a surface where students can write or take notes.
Space for All
Be sure all students can tech, and that you can see them.
Locate classroom computers in an area that's easily accessible (to students) and easily supervised (by teachers).
Noises Off!
Control the audio on all computers with a flick of a switch!
Plug all speakers into a main power strip. Turn the power off when you're teaching and turn it back on while students are working. If the room becomes too noisy during computer work, turn power back off until things get quiet again.
