This week, Education World celebrates Earth Day (April 22) in a big way!
Start by taking a journey to Earth's core in a special story on Education World's CURRICULUM page,'Down to Earth' Web Sites -- Resources to Help Students Learn About Our Planet.
Then the focus of our Earth Day celebration turns outward, to a popular classroom topic -- endangered species. In Endangered Species Thrive (In Cyberspace), Ed World tracks down the best online resources for teaching about endangered species. Then each of three special LESSON PLANNING stories focuses on a different endangered animal. Don't miss those stories -- The Endangered Falcon: Back from the Brink, Tracking Sea Turtles: Lessons in Saving an Endangered Species, and The Return of the Wolf!
To close out this week's Earth Day celebration, Ed World highlights four new Kids' Books to Celebrate Earth!
Don't miss any of this week's stories, highlighting the best WWW resources on Earth!
