Materials Needed
Lesson Plan
Kindergarten teacher Debbie Zakowski of Captain Hunt
School in Central Falls, Rhode Island, created the Pet
Detective WebQuest for her students. In this activity, students
click on selected Web links and answer questions about the material
they encounter. The WebQuest is designed to be used with small
groups of students but can easily be adapted for whole group
instruction.
Assessment
Students share something they learned from the WebQuest with
a partner. Assessment is achieved through teacher observation
during discussions as the students work.
