Educator Left Behind:School Improvement No Educator Left Behind is a series providing answers from the U.S. Department of Education to questions about the federal No Child Left Behind Act and how it will affect educators. QUESTION: How do schools get out of school improvement, corrective action, or restructuring? U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION: Corrective action and restructuring measures are no longer required for school improvement- identified schools once they make adequate yearly progress for two consecutive years. Schools are no longer identified for school improvement if such progress has occurred. Read previous questions and answers in our No Educator Left Behind archive.
