Down the left-hand side of a sheet of paper on an easel pad write the letters in the words

or the name of another form of transportation. Invite children to think of transportation words or phrases whose first letters are those found in the words "jet plane." For example J=Jeep, and so on. When all words are found, read your acrostic poem aloud together.
