Purchase several rolls of refrigerated unbaked crescent rolls. Use a rolling pin to flatten each roll of dough. Cut small rectangular pieces of dough, 2 pieces per child. On top of one piece of the dough, let each child place a tablespoon of cherry pie filling. Place the other piece of dough on top of the pie filling and pinch all the edges together. Bake according to the package directions and let cool. Serve for children to enjoy on Presidents' Day.
