Animal Teeth

Share

Did you know that February is Pet Dental Health Month too? Take some time to learn about animal teeth. Which animals have pointed teeth? Which animals have flat teeth? Why? How can we take care of our pets' teeth? Check the books Up Close: Teeth That Stab and Grind by Diane Swanson and Whose Teeth Are These? by Wayne Lynch (photographer) to see if they are appropriate for your class. Some photos and illustrations may be helpful even if the entire book is "too much" for little ones.
