In my classroom, students desks are arranged in pods of 4 or 5. Each pod is designated by a color. On the chalkboard I keep a weekly chart with tally marks for each group. Throughout the week I reward groups with tally marks for quiet work, cleaning up, cooperation, and a variety of other positive behaviors. At the end of the week, I reward the group with the most points with a small treat.
