Bad Behavior
Hits a Wrong Note

One middle school teacher doesnt write notes to kids or their parents when they are doing wrong. Instead, she prefers to sing wrong notes. The teacher sings badly, she freely admits. So when she wants to get the attention of a student who needs to correct behavior, she starts singing. Mostly oldies. Tunes by the Monkees usually get an unusually quick response, she has found. After serenading students with off-key verses a few times, now she says she only has to threaten to sing to get students on the right behavior track.
