As testing time approaches, enlist parents help. Let them know when testing will take place and what they can do to help their children perform well. Ask parents to express confidence in, and high expectations for, their children, and to make sure their children get a good night's sleep and eat a nutritious breakfast before testing. Share with parents a list of five things they can do to help halt test anxiety.
