AESTHETICS:
This site uses interactivity and some of the most up-to-date Web technologies to explain and demonstrate complicated concepts. JavaScript must be enabled in the browser.
ORGANIZATION:
The main page features a table of contents and a top menu bar for navigating the various areas of the site. Visitors can also search the site by keyword or browse by topic. Users will need to use the back button on the browser to return to the homepage from many of the pages.
REVIEW:
These science resources were created by teachers in the United Kingdom and relate to the work of the sponsoring company. Biology, chemistry, and physics teachers everywhere will find these "e-sources" (electronic resources) a great supplement to their instruction. All the resources use interactive diagrams, glossaries, quizzes, and a find feature. Be sure to visit Highlights for some interesting approaches to interactive/animated diagrams and text. Featured topics include Interactive rock cycle and Proton structure. There is a special section just for Teachers, with guides, activities, and suggestions for using the site.
