REVIEW:
Encouraging children, especially those who have disabilities, to believe in themselves is sometimes a challenge. This site motivates kids to concentrate on their own abilities and to focus on what they "Can Do" regardless of the challenges they face. Users can choose from several different activities to explore and learn to appreciate individual differences. Activities include Share your dreams, Write stories and poems, Read about Can Do! People, Solve puzzles, and Take the Can Do! Ability Survey. Included is the Can Do! Lunch Box of lesson plans and ideas for promoting a positive attitude.
