Collected Learning Units in Mathematics
National Security Agency looks into math – created by teachers!.

	CONTENT: This site provides mathematics lesson plans, created by teachers attending summer institutes sponsored by the National Security Agency (NSA) that meet the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NTCM) Standards.
	SITE DESIGN: This very simple site lists learning units as a table of contents on the main page. Units are grouped by Elementary, Middle School and High School. All of the units are in .PDF format so Adobe Acrobat Reader is needed.
	REVIEW: This collection of learning units is a rich resource for mathematics teachers. There are over two hundred instructional units grouped by elementary, middle school, and high school. Each grade cluster further categorizes units by topic such as arithmetic, data analysis, fractions, geometry and probability/patterns for elementary; pre-algebra, graphing/statistics, geometry, number theory, and interdisciplinary for middle school; and algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, Internet, science, and modeling for high school. Each of the topics contains several lesson plans dating as far back as 1995 to the present. Included in the learning units is background information, assessment, standards, teacher facilitation notes, reteaching/extension and student worksheets.
